2. EQ answer:
- The best way for a Pharmacist to handle the patient care aspect of his job, is too make sure that each patient understands and comprehends the prescription drug they are taking. The more they know, the better off they will be.
- Building a friendly relationship with patients not only adds to patient care, but as a retail pharmacy owner, keeps them coming back and providing income.
- To better the financial structure of a retail pharmacy, each drug sold should show have a equal return on how much the pharmacist pays to obtain the drug and gets compensated for it by insurance companies and the patients.
- Making sure that all permits and licenses are current and updated to sell prescription drugs.
4. My mentor is Timmothy Wong, Retail pharmacist, and I am volunteering at his pharmacy. What I do at the pharmacy and observe is what helps me to answer my EQ the best. There I am able to see what proper patient care and instuction are, and also how to manage selling drugs so that there is income when dealing with insurance companies and patients.
